Call Me Glinda

Will you join me in denying the belief that when abundance "falls in my lap" it's magic, but when it comes to disappointment it's 100% my own doing.

Rather, is it possible that we are vessels for both? I suggest it is our own force of will and grace that allows us to make space for the universe to step in and do her job.

You've always had the power my dear, you just had to learn it yourself.

– Glinda the Good Witch, The Wizard of Oz

Consider this scenario; There's no way you would be on a plane to San Francisco to shoot a commercial right now if you hadn't set up your life so that you have a day job which makes it possible for you to miss a few days from work, and a lifestyle that supports you running around to auditions, and a relationship with your agent that is ongoing, and that you have trained and continue to train in improv and in acting technique, and that you have opinions about the material, etc, etc, etc.

Yes, the universe is always conspiring in your favor, but it is your job to put on the shoes and click your heels three times.
